The session refers to an individual database connection established between a client application or user and a database management system (DBMS). Each session represents a unique interaction with the database and operates independently, allowing multiple users to concurrently interact with the database. In the session window, you can see the following details which are listed below:

• Action: In action, you can perform drill-down operation for each and every row by clicking on the icon. By performing this action, you can navigate to the respective child processes of a particular session.
• Timestamp: This refers to a data element that records the date and time when a specific event or SQL query occurred within a database management system (DBMS). You can see the date and time in the following format MM/DD/YY and HH:MM:SS.
• SPID(Session Process ID): This refers to a unique identifier assigned to each active database session or process within a database management system.
• SQL User: This refers to the user name who is accessing the SQL Session
• Batch Text: This refers to the text of a SQL batch or statement that a specific session is executing.
• Status: This refers to the current status of the session i.e.: Sleeping and Active.
• Last Command: This refers to the current or the previous command which was executed.
• Mem(No. of pages): This refers to the number of pages in the procedure cache that are currently allocated to this process.
• Logical Reads: This refers to the number of logical reads performed for each request.
• Reads: This refers to the number of physical reads perform for each request.
• Writes: This refers to the number of physical writes perform for each request.
• Total CPU: This refers to the CPU time consumed by the session since the SQL server has restarted. It gets updated each and every time upon the execution of a session.
• Total I/O: This refers to the sum of total reads and total writes.
• Total Logical Reads: This refers to the number of logical reads performed for the session.
• Total Reads: This refers to the number of physical reads performed for the session.
• Total Writes: This refers to the number of physical writes performed for the session.
• Last Batch Time: This refers to the time at which the last batch had started their execution.
• Host Process: This refers to the workstation process ID
• Login Time: This refers to the time the session was created.

Note: If you want to show the data for all the session id, then you have to select the Session Stats System Sessions checkbox.

Table Operations

There are following operation which you can perform on the Session Stats table which are listed below:

• Search: You can perform search operation in the table by providing the query values in the Search in table column icon. You can search by providing timestamp, elapsed time, wait time, worker time etc in the search table column.
• Download : This will download the DB query stats report in the CSV file format in your local.
• Toggle Columns : On clicking this icon, you will be able to show or hide a column from the DB query stats window.
• Toggle Filter : On clicking this icon, you can apply search operation on columns in the DB query stats window.
• You can also see the applied time filter on the right side of the window.
• If you want to disable the analysis mode, then you have to click on the Analysis Mode Toggle button.
• If you want to disable the real time mode, then you have to click on the Real Time Mode Toggle button.
• If you want to disable the Aggregate mode ,then you have to click on the Aggregate mode
