The log query settings refer to a configuration or set of parameters that defines how the data is to be shown to the end users. This allows the users to customize how the logs are queried, filtered and displayed for analysis purpose. In the query settings window, you can see the following details about the log query which are listed below:

  • Name: This will show the name of the setting. Example: track_total_hits.
  • Description: This will show the description for the settings i.e.: what the settings actually does on application.
  • Values: This will show the value which are been set for that particular setting. In values, you can pass alpha-numeric values such as: UTC, 500, message etc.
  • Action: In action, you can perform edit operation on a particular setting i.e.: You can edit the default values which are being set for the settings. To perform the edit operation, you have to click on Once you have edited the setting value, you have to click on the to save the changes.

In the query settings window, you can also perform the following two actions which are listed below:

  • Search: You can also search a particular setting by providing its name, description or value on the Smart Search Filter.On providing the inputs, you will get a suggestion as per your search criteria
  • Save: You can also save all the setting at once by clicking on the save button
