Response time delay or service time delay is the time taken between the request sent by the client and the response received by the client. The user can check the time delay between the client and server and see its value.

To enable the Template Based Service Time Settings, click on the Overwrite Global Service Time Delay and Service Based Service Time Delay checkbox. On clicking the check box, it will enable all the below mentioned fields:

• No Service Time: No service time delay is applied. Helps in doing max load testing.
• Exponential Random Service Time with Median of: Exponential random service time with median of specified seconds is applied. This takes a random value equivalent to median time.
• Constant Service Time of: A constant service time of specified seconds. Helps in doing controlled tests.
• Random (Uniform Distribution) service time from: It is more Realistic. The value is a random value between the minimum and maximum time defined. Min should be less than or equal to Max.
