It uses data to gain insights into the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, customer behavior, and overall marketing performance. Campaign Detail Graph

A campaign is a specific marketing initiative or effort with a defined goal and strategy. It’s a way to organize and track your marketing activities around a specific theme or objective. For example, if you're running a summer sale, "SummerSale2023" could be the name of your campaign. This allows you to measure the performance of all marketing efforts related to this particular campaign. The campaign detail graph, changes as per the data which is being generated for the campaign.

Legend

In legend, you can show or hide a data by clicking on the legend name. Once you click on a particular legend name, it will hide the data from the Campaign Detail Graph/Trend. To unhide the data, you have to click on the legend name again. There are following legends which are listed below along with their color coding.

In chart context menu, you can perform the following operations which are listed below:

Medium Data

The medium refers to the general category or type of marketing channel through which a user interacts with your content. It tells you how the user found your website or landing page. The common medium includes the following:

  1. Organic: This refers to the traffic that comes from search engine results without any paid advertising.
  2. CPC (Cost Per Click): This refers to the traffic from paid advertising where you pay a certain amount each time someone clicks on your ad (e.g., Google Ads).
  3. Email: This refers to the traffic which is coming from links in email campaigns.
  4. Social: This refers to the traffic from social media platforms like: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
  5. Referral: This refers to the traffic that comes from other websites or sources that link to your site.
  6. Direct: This is when users type your URL directly into their browser or use a bookmark. It's also used when the source of traffic is unknown.

Note: You can also perform the following operations in the Medium Data window which are listed below:

  1. Search: In this you can perform the search operation in the table. To apply the search operation, you have to click on the Search input box.
  2. Download: This option enables you to download the Medium Data report in your local in CSV format. To download the report, you have to click on the Download icon.
  3. Column Filter: You can perform search operation to the column by clicking on the Column Filter button in the table. You can search a column by medium, total session etc.
  4. Toggle Column: You can Show/Hide/Search a column by clicking on the Toggle Column button in the table. To hide the column, you have to uncheck the corresponding checkbox and to show the column, you have to select on the corresponding checkbox.

Source Data

A source provides more specific information about when the traffic was originated. It specifies the platform or website when the user clicked on a link to your site. For example: If the medium is “CPC”, then the source might be ‘Google’ if the user clicked on the paid ad in Google search results. If the medium is “Referral”, the source could be the name of the website that is linked to yours. In source data, you can see the following fields which are listed below:
