An HTTP request is a message sent from a client to a web server, typically to request specific content or perform a certain action. HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol) is the protocol used for communication between client and servers on the World Wide Web (WWW). In HTTP request window, you can see the following fields which are listed below:

• Action: This shows the action which can be taken against the particular HTTP request. You can perform the following action which is listed below:
  1. View Flow Path Report : On clicking this icon, you will be navigated to the Flowpathwindow where you can view the flowpath details.

     Note: You can also expand the Action section in the table by clicking on the Expand icon. Once you click on the expand icon, you can see the details for the following four options which are listed below:

  2. Timing: In timing, you can see the following details which are listed below:
     • opened:It refers to the moment when a connection is established between the client and the server to initiate the request.
     • requestStart:This will represents the timestamp when the browser initiates the request to the server.
     • loading: Response's body is being received. If responseTypeis "text" or empty string, responseText will have the partial text response as it loads.
     • header_received:This refers to the moment when response headers have been received from an incoming HTTP request.
     • loadEventEnd:The Load Event End in an HTTP request is the point when the request has finished, either successfully or unsuccessfully. It is triggered by the loadend event, which is fired by the XMLHttpRequest
     • done:This shows the fetch operation is complete. This could mean that either the data transfer has been completed successfully or failed.
  3. Parameter: This will show the piece of information that is included in the request to provide additional data or instruction to the server. In parameters, you can see the following details which are listed below:
     • User Name: This will show the name of the user who has hit the url request.
     • Product Key: This will show the product key for the corresponding url request.
  4. Response: This will show the data or message sent by a web server in reply to a client’s HTTP request.
  5. Post Data: This will show the information intended for the server which is being enclosed within the request body when anHTTP POST request is being initiated.
  6. Header: This will show the additional information about the request. HTTP headers are used to transit metadata about the request and may provide essential details to the web server about how the request should be handled.
• Start Time: This shows the commencement time of the HTTP request execution.
• Domain: This shows the portion of the URL that identifies a specific website or web resource on the internet. A domain name serves as a human-readable label that corresponds to an IP address. This shows the domain of the HTTP session.
• URL: This shows the reference or address used to locate resource on the internet, such as: web page, image, videos. This shows the URL of the HTTP request for the session.
• Parameter: This shows the piece of data that is included within the request to provide additional information.
• Status Code: This shows the respective status or responsecode of the business transaction such as: 200, 500
• Method: This shows the type of request being made by a client to a server when interacting with a web resource. This shows the HTTP method which was used for the particular session.
• BytesTransferred: This shows the amount of data that is sent from the client to the server or visa-versa.
• Response Time: This shows the total response time (in milliseconds) taken by the transaction for fetching the data from the database.
• Page Name: This shows the name of the page from where the HTTP request was sent.
• Connection Type: This shows the way the client establishes and maintains a connection to the server while making multiple requests or receiving responses.
• Location: This shows the location where the HTTP request was accessed.
• Correlation ID: This shows the ID that correlates the request and response for a service.
• Device: This denotes the device, such as PC, mobile, or tablet on which the session is accessed.
• Browser: This shows the name of the browser from which the HTTP request has been sent.
• OS: This shows the operating system which was utilized to access the HTTP request.
• MobileCarrier: This shows the mobile operator which was used for sending the HTTP request.
• StoreId: This shows the identifier that is used to differentiate and manage individual user sessions or data stores within a system or application. Select the store ID from the drop-down.
• TerminalId: This shows an identifier that represents a physical or virtual terminal device. Terminals are endpoints that a system use to interact with a server or a service.

Note: You can also perform the following operations on the HTTP Request window which are listed below:

• Smart Search Filter: You can also search the data by providing the name on the Smart Search Filter input box button. You can search by providing the following information such as: URL Name, Start Time, Domain etc.
• If you want to see the ND data in the HTTP request, then you have to click on the Calls with ND Data checkbox.
• You can also see the scattered view for different metrics in HTTP Requestalong with its time period in seconds  by clicking on the Scatter Map icon. A scatter map is a visual representation which allows you to graph the HTTP Response Time vs HTTP Request  in their respective X and Y axis.
• You can also download the HTTP Request report by clicking on the Download icon. You can download the HTTP request in the following three formats: CSV, Excel and PDF.
• Toggle Column : You can also show/hide a column by clicking on the Toggle Column button in the table.
  1. You can also reset the columns by clicking on the Reset to Default To save the selected columns in the system, you have to click on the Save Preference System Level option.
• You can also perform search operation in the columns by clicking on the Column Filter icon.
• You can also reset the applied settings by clicking on the Reset filter icon.
