Page performance detail analytics can analyze the page performance across multiple metrics. You can drill to any session causing a spike in the dashboard from a single page. Through page performance detail, the root cause for the spike can also be known as it enables you to view all the details of the session.

Details

In details, you can see the information regarding the following page’s details which are listed below:

• AVG OnLoad: Onload time occurs when processing of the page is complete and all the resources on the page (images, CSS, etc.) have finished downloading. This is also the same time that DOM complete occurs and the JavaScript onload event fires.
• AVG DOM Time: DOM time is the total amount of time spent in processing DOM and rendering the page. It is the time from main URL (Last non-redirect) response received to onload event.
• AVG TTDI: Avg TTDI is the average duration which is taken for a web page’s DOM to be fully constructed and ready for user interaction.
• AVG PRT: Perceived render time is the time when viewpoint area of the client browser is visually complete. It will not consider hidden area of the document.
• AVG TTDL: Avg TTDL is the average duration which is taken for a web page’s DOM to be fully constructed and ready for user interaction.
• AVG First Byte: Time to First Byte is the total amount of time spent to receive the first byte of the response once it has been requested.
• AVG TTI: Time to Interactive is when the website is visually usable and engaging.
• AVG FID: First Input Delay measures the time from when a user first interacts with your site to the time when the browser can respond to that interaction.
• AVG Unload: AVG unload is the time spent in unloading the previous document (if any).
• AVG Redirect: AVG redirect is the time taken by the browser to fetch all redirect URLs, if there is any redirection in fetching the main URL.
• AVG CacheLookUp: AVG CacheLookUp Time is the time taken by the browser to look up the main URL in the browser cache.
• AVG DNS: AVG DNS is the decentralized hierarchical naming system that translates domain name into IP addresses, enabling users to access websites using human-readable addresses.
• AVG TCP: Time required for TCP handshake. It does not include SSL/TLS
• AVG SSL: Time required for SSL/TLS
• AVG Wait Time: Server response time is the wait time for the main URL. It is the start time from the main URL request (Last Non-redirect) start to time when first byte of response is received.
• AVG Download Time: The total time taken in downloading the main URL (Last Non-Redirect) response.
• AVG FP: First paint timestamp report is when the browser has started to render the page after navigation.
• AVG FCP: Avg First Content Paint Timestamp reports is the time it takes for the first visible content to be rendered on a web page.

• You can click on the Auto Analysis Report icon to download the complete analysis report for the respective metrics in pdf format. This applies only over the below given metrics:

  • DOM Interactive
  • DOM Content Load

Page Performance Trend

In page performance trend, you can visualize the Page Performance Trend by analyzing the page details in graphical format with all the performance parameter (I.e., Same as Details Table parameter). You can find the highlighted peak on the graph. You can also hover on the line to view the overall details at that time.

Legend

In legend, you can show or hide a data by clicking on the legend name. Once you click on a particular legend name, it will hide the data from the page performance report. To unhide the data, you have to click on the legend name again. There are following legends which are listed below along with their color coding:

Chart Context Menu

In chart context menu, you can perform the following operations which are listed below:

• Print Chart: This option is used to print the chart context.
• Download PNG Image: This option is used to download the chart context in PNG
• Download JPEG Image: This option is used to download the chart context in JPEG
• Download PDF Document: This option is used to download the chart context in PDF format.
• Download SVG Vector Image: This option is used to download the chart context in SVG

You can also see the following information in the Page Performance Trend table which are listed below:

• Date Time: This shows the date and time on which the page performance trend was created. The date and time will be in the Day, MM/DD/YY HH:MM:SS
• Page Views: This refers to a single instance of a web page being loaded or viewed by a user.
• Onload (sec): Onload time occurs when the processing of the page is complete, and all resources of the page have finished downloading.
• PRT (sec): Perceived Render Time is the time when the viewpoint area of the client browser is visually complete.
• DNS (sec): DNS resolution time is the time required to resolve the host name.
• TCP (sec): TCP is one of the core protocols of the Internet Protocol Suite and is used for reliable data transmission between devices over a network. TCP ensures that the data is delivered accurately and reliably, and it handles tasks like segmenting data into packets, numbering and sequencing those packets, and reassembling them in the correct order on the receiving end.
• DOM Complete (sec): This refers to a performance metric that measures the time it takes for the Document Object Model (DOM) of a web page to be fully constructed and ready for interaction.
• SSL (sec): Secure Socket Layer is a security protocol that creates an encrypted link between a web server and a web browser. SSL can impact various aspects of how a web page loads and interacts with users.
• Redirect (sec): This shows the time taken by the browser to fetch all redirect URLs, if there is any redirection in fetching the main URL.
• Base Page (sec): This refers to a template or foundational layout that serves as a starting point for creating multiple pages with a consistent design and structure.
• Cache (sec): This refers to a high-speed data storage layer that temporarily stores frequently used or recently accessed data. The purpose of cache is to provide quick access to the data and reduce the need to retrieve it from slower, primary storage locations such as: Disk Storage.
• TTDI (sec): This stands for Time to DOM This is the point where the browser has finished loading and parsing HTML.
• First Bytes (sec): This is the total amount of time spent to receive the first byte response once it has been requested.
• FP (sec): First Paint timestamp reports when the browser started to render the page after navigation.
• FCP (sec): First Content Paint Timestamp reporting the time when any content is painted i.e., something defined in the DOM.
• TTI (sec): Time To Interactive is when the website is visually usable and engaging.
• FID (sec): First Input Delay (FID) measures the time from when a user first interacts with your site to the time when the browser can respond to that interaction.

Notes:

• Search Filter: you can search the data by providing the name on the Search
• Clicking the Page View Scattered Chart button will navigate to Page Scatter Map.
• Download: This option enables you to download the page performance detail report in your local. To download the report, you have to click on the Download There are following 3 formats in which you can download the report which are listed below:

2. EXCEL
3. PDF

Global Action Items

There are following global action item filters which are listed below:

• In the Page Performance Detail window, you can also navigate to the page performance overview by clicking on the Page Performance Overview Page Performance Overview button.
• Compare On: In compare on, there are two options one is for time comparison, and another is for user segment comparison.
• Compare OFF: In compare off, you can disable the compare mode. To disable the compare, you have to click on the Compare OFF Compare OFF button.
• You can also reset the applied settings by clicking on the Reset filter icon.
