The User Flow Report Screen visualizes user behavior within an application or website, displaying entry points, interactions, and exit points to help optimize user journeys.

Note : Users can apply or reset their selections using the Apply and Reset buttons.

UI Dimension

In the UI, users will be able to select a dimension (e.g., Browser) from a dropdown menu at the top left. Once the dimension is selected, users will need to click on the Apply icon located at the corner to apply the filter and update the report accordingly.

User Flow Report Displays Following

  1. Total Sessions: Displays the overall number of sessions within the selected time period. It will be the count of pages selected.
  2. Entry Page: It will display the metrics of the first page selected in the filter.
    • Metrics Displayed:
      • Total Sessions: Number of sessions starting on the entry page.
      • Through Rate: Percentage of users who continue to the next page.
      • Drop-offs: Percentage of users leaving at this stage.
  3. Interactions (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.): Tracks user movement throughout different pages or steps.Helps identify where users exit and where they proceed, highlighting areas for optimization.
    • Metrics Displayed: For each interaction, you'll see:
      • Sessions: Number of sessions reaching that interaction point.
      • Through Rate: Percentage continuing to the next step.
      • Drop-offs: Percentage leaving at that interaction point.

The diagram shows user movement between interactions, with path widths representing traffic volume at each stage. It highlights exit points where users drop off, offering a visual summary to identify key drop-off areas for optimization.The flow will change based on the dimension selected, such as Browser, Location, or Device, allowing the user to view different user journeys and interactions specific to the selected criteria.
