Add Test Suite

Test Suite is the Load Test entity to control the execution of tests together with the comparison of actual outcomes to predicted outcomes (SLA). It involves automating a manual process that uses a formalized testing process. A TestSuite can be configured to execute a single test case or multiple test cases.

For adding a test suite, fill in the following fields:

• Project: The Project is the parent directory of the Sub Project.
• Subproject: Sub-Project is the directory where all test assets (Script, Scenario, TestSuite, Services, etc.) are stored.
• Test Suite Name: Specifies the name of the suite.
• Test Case: Select the test case from the drop-down list which needs to execute with the Test suite.
• Action on Failure: Decide whether to continue or abort the test in case of failure.
• Parameterization Mode: In the Parameterization Mode, the user can select any of the below options:
  • No Parameterization: In this case, the test case will execute as per the execution count.
  • Parameterization Using Iteration File: In this case, the test case will execute the execution count multiplied by iteration count times.
• Execution Count: Provide the Execution count (number of times to run the test case) in the Execution Count Text box.
• Add: Add a test case with provided options in the test suite.
• Attach Report of all test cases in a single Email: Once you check this checkbox, you can configure email settings like TO, CC, BCC, and mail body. By configuring email settings, a single email that includes all the test case reports will be sent.

Note: - By default, Email will go for each test case separately. If you click the above check box, in that case only a single email with all reports attached will be sent.

Once all of the above fields are filled, click on the icon in the top right corner to save the test suite.
