The blocking session refers to a database session that is actively holding a resource lock on a database object such as: table or row and preventing other sessions from accessing that resource. Identifying and managing bolocking session is essential for maintaining database performance and data consistency. In the blocking session window, you can see the following details which are listed below:

• Timestamp: This refers to a data element that records the date and time when a specific event or SQL query occurred within a database management system (DBMS). You can see the date and time in the following format MM/DD/YY and HH:MM:SS.
• Session ID: This refers to a unique identifier associated with each active database session. It is used for tracking, resource allocation, security, auditing and performance monitoring within a database management system (DBMS).
• Query: This refers to a specific SQL statement that is sent to a database management system (DBMS) to request data retrieval, manipulation, insertion, updating, or deletion from a database
• Wait Time (hh:mm:ss:ms): This refers to the amount of time that a session spends waiting for a specific event to become available while actively holding a lock that is blocking other sessions from accessing the same resource.
• Waiting Resource: This refers to the state that a session can enter when it is trying to perform an operation which are waiting for access to a specific database resource that is currently locked by another session.
• Command: This refers to the specific SQL statements that a session is attempting to execute when it is involved in a blocking situation within an SQL database.
• Login Name: This refers to the identifier associated with the database user or session that is performing an SQL operation.
• Program Name: This refers to the identifier of the software program that is initiating and managing a database session and executing SQL commands within an SQL database.
• CPU Time: This refers to the CPU time consumed by a specific session while executing SQL command within an SQL database.
• Physical IO: This refers to the number of input and output operations performed at the physical storage level by a specific session during the execution of SQL commands.
• Host Name: This refers to a name or network identifier to the device from which a specific database session originates.

Table Operations

There are following operation which you can perform on the DB Query Stats table which are listed below:

• Search: You can perform search operation in the table by providing the query values in the Search in table column icon. You can search by providing timestamp, elapsed time, wait time, worker time etc in the search table column.
• Download : This will download the DB query stats report in the CSV file format in your local.
• Toggle Columns : On clicking this icon, you will be able to show or hide a column from the DB query stats window.
• Toggle Filter : On clicking this icon, you can apply search operation on columns in the DB query stats window.
• You can also see the applied time filter on the right side of the window.
• If you want to disable the analysis mode, then you have to click on the Analysis Mode Toggle button
• If you want to disable the real time mode, then you have to click on the Real Time Mode Toggle button.
