The I/O by file refers to a metric or measurement that tracks the input and output (I/O) operations performed on individual database files. This is often used for monitoring and optimizing database performance. In the I/O by file window, you can see the following details which are listed below:

• Action: In action, by clicking on the icon you can see the corresponding graphs in the lower panel
• Timestamp: This refers to a data element that records the date and time when a specific event or SQL query occurred within a database management system (DBMS). You can see the date and time in the following format MM/DD/YY and HH:MM:SS.
• Database Name: This refers to the name of the specific database within a database management system (DBMS) where an SQL query is being executed.
• File Name: This refers to the name of the file of the database file that is used to store data or other database related information.
• File Type: This refers to the classification of files that are used within a database or are related to a database operation.
• Total IO: This refers to the cumulative count of input/output operations performed by a database system for a specific SQL query.
• KB Read: This refers to the amount of data read from storage in kilobyte (KB) during the execution of a specific SQL query within a database.
• KB Written: This refers to the amount of data written to store during the execution of a specific SQL query, transaction or operation within a database.
• KB on Disk: This refers to the amount of storage space consumed by the database objects on the physical storage devices such as: hard disk.
• Total Wait Time: This refers to the cumulative amount of time that a particular SQL query, transaction, or operation has spent waiting for some event to become available during its execution.
• Reads Wait Time: This refers to the amount of time that a specific SQL query spends waiting for read-related operations to be complete.
• Writes Wait Time: This refers to the amount of time that a specific SQL query spends waiting for write-related operations to be completed.
• Current Read Wait Time: This refers to the amount of time that a specific SQL query is currently waiting for a read-related operation to be completed.
• Current Write Wait Time: This refers to the amount of time that a database session is waiting for write-related operations to be completed.
• Read Rate: This refers to the rate at which the database is able to retrieve data from storage and provide it to execute SQL queries.
• Write Rate: This refers to the rate at which data is being written to a database by SQL operations.
• Total I/O Rate : This refers to the overall rate at which input/output operations are performed by a database system.

Table Operations

There are following operation which you can perform on the Session Stats table which are listed below:

• Search: You can perform search operation in the table by providing the query values in the Search in table column icon. You can search by providing timestamp, elapsed time, wait time, worker time etc in the search table column.
• Download : This will download the DB query stats report in the CSV file format in your local.
• Toggle Columns : On clicking this icon, you will be able to show or hide a column from the DB query stats window.
• Toggle Filter : On clicking this icon, you can apply search operation on columns in the DB query stats window.
• You can also see the applied time filter on the right side of the window.
• If you want to disable the analysis mode, then you have to click on the Analysis Mode Toggle button.
• If you want to disable the real time mode, then you have to click on the Real Time Mode Toggle button.
