The server stats refers to a collection of performance and statistical metrics that provide insights into the health, resource utilization and overall perofrmance of an SQL server instance. These statistics are essential for database administrators and system operators to access the performance and efficiency of the SQL server environment.

Memory Stats

The memory stats refers to a set of performance metrics and statistics related to the usage and allocation of memory resources within an SQL server instance. On clicking the memory stats, you can see the following options which are listed below in the SQL Configuration window which are listed below:

• Name: This refers to the name associated with a specific memory related performance metirc.
• Value: This refers to the the numerical data associated with a specific memory-related performance metric or statistics.
• Value In Use: This refers to the portion of memory that is actively being used or allocated for specific database operations and caching purpose.
• Is Dynamic: This refers to the attribute associated with certain memory-related performance metrics which indicates whether the memory settings can be dynamically changed without requiring a server restart.
• Is Dynamic: This refers to the attribute associated with certain memory-related performance metrics which indicates whether the memory settings can be dynamically changed without requiring a server restart.
• Maximum: This refers to the maximum number of configuration value for the SQL configuration.
• Minimum: This refers to the minimum number of configuration value for the SQL configuration.
• Is Advance: This refers whether the advanced option is set or not. If Is Advance is set to '1', then it means the Show Advance option is set and if it is set to '0', thenit means the Show Advance option is not set.

Notes: You can perform the following actions in the SQL Configuration window which are listed below:

• Search: You can perform search operation in the table by providing the name, value, value in use etc in the Search in table column icon.
• Download : On clicking this icon, it will download the SQL Configuration report in the CSV file format in your local.
• Toggle Columns : On clicking this icon, you will be able to show or hide a column from the SQL Configuration report window.
• Toggle Filter : On clicking this icon, you can apply search operation on columns in the SQL Configuration report window.
• You can also see the applied time filter on the right side of the window.
• You can also show/hide the database table report by clicking on the Show/Hide icon.
• You can also see the Memory Stats in the graphical format.
• There are following color codes for Memory Stats which are listed below:
  1. Total Server Memory (MB): This refer to the total amount of physical memory that SQL Server is currently using to store data and execute queries.
  2. Used Server Memory (MB): This refers to the amount of memory currently allocated and actively used by the SQL Server instance for various database-related operations and caching.
  3. Free Server Memory (MB): This refers to the amount of memory that is currently available for use by the SQL Server instance and is not actively used by SQL Server processes.
  4. MSSQL Used Memory (MB) : This refers to the amount of memory that the SQL Server instance is actively using for various database operations and caching.
