The session wait statistics refers to the collected and analysis of wait event data for individual database sessions in a database management system (DBMS). In the DB query stats window, you can see the following details which are listed below:

• Action: In action, you can perform the drill-down operation by clicking on the Drilldown icon. On clicking the icon, you can see the details for the wait categories in the Session Statistics window.
• Timestamp: This refers to a data element that records the date and time when a specific event or SQL query occurred within a database management system (DBMS). You can see the date and time in the following format MM/DD/YY and HH:MM:SS.
• SPID (Session Process ID): This refers to a unique identifier assigned to each active database session or process within a database management system (DBMS).
• Wait Category: This refers to a higher-level classification or grouping of wait events that helps in categorizing and organizing various types of waits experienced by individual database sessions or connections in a database management system (DBMS).
• Wait Time: This refers to the amount of time a database session or connection spends in a waiting state due to various types of wait events. This helps in analyzing the performance of an individual session within a database management system (DBMS).
• Waiting Task Count: This refers to the number of times a specific wait event has occurred for a database session or connection within a database management system (DBMS).
• Signal Wait Time: This refers to the time that a database session has spent waiting for signals to be received or a notification to occur.
• Max Wait Time: This refers to the maximum duration (ms) that a specific wait event has lasted for a database session within a database management system (DBMS).
• Server Name: This refers to the maximum duration (ms) that a specific wait event has lasted for a database session within a database management system (DBMS).

Session Statistics(

This will show all the details regarding the SPID such as: Timestamp, SQL User etc. In the session statistic window, you can see the following details In action, you can perform the drill-down operation by clicking on the Drilldown icon. On clicking the icon,

• Timestamp: This refers to a data element that records the date and time when a specific event or SQL query occurred within a database management system (DBMS). You can see the date and time in the following format MM/DD/YY and HH:MM:SS.
• SPID (Session Process ID): This refers to a unique identifier assigned to each active database session or process within a database management system (DBMS).
• SQL User: This refers to the user or login account associated with a specific database session in database management system (DBMS).
• Batch Text: This refers to the text or context of a SQL query that a specific database session has executed or is currently executing.
• Status: This refers to a session-level attribute that indicates the current state or condition of a database session within a database management system (DBMS).
• Last Command: This refers to the most recent SQL command executed by a specific database session or connection within a database management system (DBMS).
• Mem (No.of pages): This refers to the number of memory pages that a specific database session or connection within a database management system (DBMS) is currently utilizing.
• Logical Reads: This refers to the number of logical database reads or data page accesses that a specific database session has performed.
• Reads: This refers to the total number of reads or data retrievals performed by a specific database session within a database management system (DBMS).
• Writes: This refers to the total number of write operations performed by a specific database session within a database management system (DBMS).
• Total CPU: This refers to the cumulative amount of CPU (Central Processing Unit) time consumed by a specific database session or connection within a database management system (DBMS).
• Total I/O: This refers to the cumulative count of input/output (I/O) operations performed by a specific database session or connection within a database management system (DBMS).
• Total Logical Reads: This refers to the cumulative count of logical database reads or data page accesses performed by a specific database session or connection within a database management system (DBMS).
• Total Reads: This refers to the cumulative count of all read operations, encompassing both logical and physical reads, performed by a specific database session.
• Total Writes: This refers to the cumulative count of data modification operations, including inserts, updates, and deletes, performed by a specific database session.
• Last Batch Time: This refers to the time measurement indicating when the most recent batch of SQL statements or queries executed within a specific database session or connection was completed.
• Host Process: This refers to the specific application or program that initiated and manages a database session or connection within a database management system (DBMS).
• Login Time: This refers to the timestamp indicating when a specific database session or connection was established or when a user successfully logged into the database management system (DBMS).

Global Action Items

There are following global action item which you can perform in the Session Wait Statistics as well as Session Statistics which are listed below:

• Search: You can perform search operation in the table by providing the query values in the Search in table column icon. You can search by providing timestamp, elapsed time, wait time, worker time etc in the search table column.
• Download : This will download the DB query stats report in the CSV file format in your local.
• Toggle Columns : On clicking this icon, you will be able to show or hide a column from the DB query stats window.
• Toggle Filter : On clicking this icon, you can apply search operation on columns in the DB query stats window.
• You can also see the applied time filter on the right side of the window.
• If you want to disable the analysis mode, then you have to click on the Analysis Mode Toggle button
• If you want to disable the real time mode, then you have to click on the Real Time Mode Toggle button.
