Internet simulation is used to activate the WAN simulation. To access the internet simulation,

click the Internet Simulation icon . There are the following fields in the Internet Simulation menu which are listed below:

• Internet Simulation : This is used to activate the WAN simulation. In the internet simulation, there are the following fields:
  1. Bandwidth Constraints : In this field, the user has to specify the total bandwidth for Upload (Response) and Download (Request).
  2. Latency : In this field, the user has to specify the delay time or latency value by which the packets will be transmitted.
  3. Packet Loss (%) : In this field, the user has to specify the total number of packets that are lost in percentage.
• Internet Connection :
  1. If a user checks the Individual Connection checkbox, then the bandwidth will constraints for an individual connection.
  2. If a user unchecked the Individual Connection checkbox, then the bandwidth constraints for the overall connection.

Advanced Settings

• Jitter (%) : It is any deviation in, or displacement of, the signal pulses in a high-frequency digital signal from NO to NS (server to client).
• Adverse Factor for Latency and Packet Loss :  It is the variable percentage for latency and packet loss from NO to NS and vice versa.

Note: After adding all the fields user can either Save or can Save and Activate the configuration. To Save a configuration, click on the Save Save button icon and to Save and Activate the configuration click on the Save and Activate Save and Activate button.
