JS Error is the console error captured by NetVision. This displays information, such as action, time, error message, JF file name, error line, and error column. This filter shows the error caused by JavaScript syntax. To apply the JS error filter, click on the Open JS Error Filter icon.

General

Following fields are available in this filter:

• Last: This filters the time filters, such as: last duration (such as 15 minutes, 1 hour, 1 week, 1 day, 1 week, and so on).
• Custom: This filters the required Start and End date range.
• Session Duration: This filters the duration of the session which is applied such as: auto, 15 minutes, 30 minutes
• Select Page: In this option, you have to select the page on which you want to apply the compare. You can select the page from the drop-down provided.
• Select Channel: A channel is a medium through which a you can access the site. Select from the drop-down.
• Select User Segment: It is a group of users having some common behavior or attributes.
• Select Group by: In this, the categories like page, OS, and OS version are selected.
• Error Message: This filters the JS error message for the corresponding exception.
• File Name: This filters the name of the error file.
• Select OS: This filters a specify operating system used for accessing the site.
• Select Browser: This filters the browser used while accessing the site.

You can either Include or Exclude the following advanced settings which are optional and are listed below.

Include

You can include the following options by selecting their values from the corresponding drop-down which are listed below:

• Location
• Page
• OS
• Browser

Exclude

You can Exclude the following options by selecting their values from the corresponding drop-down which are listed below:

• Location
• Page
• OS
• Browser

In the Aggregate JS Errors window, there are following fields which are listed below:

• Page: This shows the name of the page on which the filter will be applied.
• Error Message: This shows the error message for the corresponding errors.
• File Name: This shows the file name for which the errors have been generated.
• Line: This shows the line number at which the error has occurred in the file.
• Columns: This shows the column number at which the error has occurred in the file.
• Count: This shows the total number of error count.
• Browser: This shows the name of the browser on which the error has occurred.
• OS: This shows the name of the operating system on which the error has occurred.

Notes:

• Once you have selected all the settings, then you have to click on the Apply Apply button to apply the setting. You can also reset the general settings by clicking on the Reset Apply button.
• You can also select the type of device you want to use for applying the filter. You can select any one from the following options provided such as: PC, Mobile or Tablet.
• If you want to apply error filter for PC, then you have to click on the PC PC If you want to apply error filter for mobile, then you have to click on the Mobile Mobile button. If you want to apply error filter for tablet, then you have to click on the Table Tablet button. You can also select multiple devices for applying the filter.
• In the Aggregate JS Error Filter window, you can also perform the following operations which are listed below:

1. Download: This option enables you to download the page performance detail report in your local. To download the report, you have to click on the Download icon. There are following 3 formats in which you can download the report which are listed below:
   • CSV
   • XLS
   • PDF
2. Column Filter: You can perform search operation to the column by clicking on the Column Filter button in the table. You can search a column by name, value etc.
3. Toggle Column: You can Show/Hide a column by clicking on the Toggle Column icon. button in the table. You can show/hide the following column which are listed below:
   1. Page
   2. Error Message
   3. File Name
   4. Line
   5. Columns
   6. Count
   7. Browser
   8. OS
4. Smart Search Filter: This option will provide a suggestion as per your search criteria to filter out your search easily. To apply click on the Smart Search Filter
5. You can also reset the toggle filter by clicking on the Reset to Default option.
6. You can also save your own preference columns in the JS Error Filter window by clicking on the Save Preference System Level
