BASIC

In load configuration, the user can choose the scenario type (FCU/FSR), edit group data, and schedule the scenario.

There are following scenario types among which the user can select:

• Fixed Concurrent Users: In this user defines the number of users for the scenario.
• Fixed Session Rate: In this User defines the number of Sessions/Minute for the Scenario

In Basic settings, there are the following configuration options:

• Scenario Type
• Total Number of Users
• Distribution Mode

GROUP DETAILS

In group details, there are the following fields:

• Group Name: It displays the name of the group.
• Scenario Type: It describes the type of scenario used in the test
• Session/minute (only in case of FSR): It describes the session per minute.
• Users: It describes the total number of Vusers.
• Actions: It is used for performing 2 types of actions in a group :Edit and Delete.
  • Edit: It is used for editing an existing group.
  • Delete: It is used for deleting an existing group.

The group details fields are as follows:

• Ramp Up: It is the process of increasing the number of users. Users can ramp up a user by time like 4h 30m..
• Stabilize: Stabilize is the same as duration phase, but it is not included in the report. Stabilization should be in hours, minutes, or seconds. The input field should only contain h, m, or s respectively.
• Duration: Duration represents the run time of the test. It should be in hours, minutes, or seconds. The input field should only contain h, m, or s respectively. Users can ramp up a user by time like 4h 30m.
• Ramp Down: It is the process of decreasing the user. Users can ramp down user by time like 4h 30m

SCHEDULE GRAPH

It is the graphical representation of all the phases (Ramp Up, Ramp Down, Stabilize, and Duration).

ADVANCE

• Scenario Type: It describes the type of scenario used in the test.
  In advance with FSR and FCU we have an additional Scenario type of Mixed mode. In this user can choose group which can be either FCU or FSR.
• Distribution Mode: It describes the distribution of the group or scenario. You can either distribute it in terms of percentage or in numbers.
• By: Select group or scenario from the drop-down.
• Optional columns can be selected by the user from the “Show Columns” drop-down above the group table.
• Phase can be added from the “Add Phase” button or context menu in the Actions column.
• If the user adds a phase from the “Add Phase” button, then the phase will be added at last and if the user adds a phase from the context menu then phase will be added after the selected phase.
