Start Recording

Pre-Requisites:

• Java prcoess should have java flight recording enabled in the command line arguments (e.g. java -XX:+UnlockCommercialFeatures -XX:+FlightRecorder)
• If the JDK version is less than 9, the jcmd or jrcmd command must be present in the $JAVA_HOME/bin directory of the machine agent or Java process.
• If the JDK version is 9 or above, JFR MBean will be used. Otherwise, jcmd or jrcmd will be used.
• Starting recording using the machine agent is currently supported only on Linux, and not on Windows.

Step 1: Select Target

Choose the target, including tier, server, and instance, for which you intend to start the JFR.

Step 2: Set Configuration

Specify the duration for the JFR recording session.

Once these configurations are set, you can initiate the recording by clicking "Start Recording"
