UX reporting feature allows viewing various reports on the reports panel. Users can customize the duration for which the reports are to be generated and can view the generated data in the combination of tabular and graphical formats. Custom queries can be created to get user interested data. In the UX report, there are three types of reports which are listed below.

General Report

Users can generate reports in general mode, and within the general reports, users have the option to view reports in various types, such as Bar charts and Pie charts.

Session: A session represents a series of interactions that a user has with a website within a given time frame. It starts when a user visits the website and ends after a period of inactivity or when the user leaves the site.

• Page: Page refers to a single HTML document or resource that is accessed by a user's web browser. Pages are typically tracked to analyze website traffic, user behavior, and engagement metrics.
• Revenue: Revenue refers to the total income generated by a business through its products or services over a specific period. In web analytics, revenue can be tracked from online transactions, such as e-commerce sales or subscription fees.
• Business Process: Business process refers to a series of interconnected tasks or activities performed by individuals or systems to achieve a specific organizational goal. 
• Bounce Report: A bounce report provides information about the percentage of single-page visits to a website where the user leaves without interacting further with the site.
• Referrer: A referrer is the URL of the webpage that a user was on before navigating to the current page. 
• User Timing: Business process refers to a series of interconnected tasks or activities performed by individuals or systems to achieve a specific organizational goal. In analytics, understanding and optimizing business processes can lead to improved efficiency, productivity, and performance.
• CSP: CSP (Content Security Policy): Content Security Policy is a security standard that helps prevent cross-site scripting (XSS), clickjacking, and other code injection attacks by defining and enforcing a whitelist of trusted content sources.
• Events: Events are user interactions with content that can be tracked and measured in web analytics. Examples of events include clicks on links, button interactions, form submissions, video views, and downloads.

Note:

• Users can view the general report by clicking on any report in the list, which will then direct them to a new screen. On this newly displayed screen, the user is required to specify the time by providing specific options such as last  hours,days,months, and years, or they can input custom start times, dates, and end dates and times. After configuring the time parameters, the user must click the "Apply" button to generate the report in graphical format or tabular format.
• Users will also be able to see session reports based on browser, device, version, and location.
• Users will also be able to see page reports based on browser operating system and page version etc,.so that it will be classified and easily accessible.
• Channel: Users can view the content seamlessly across various channels such as desktops, PCs, and mobile devices. This ensures a consistent and accessible experience, allowing users to access the information they need regardless of the platform they are using.

Special Reports

The special reports are created on the basis of the pages. To open the special reports page, click the Special menu item under the UX Reports menu. The special reports page is displayed. User will get three option of reports explained below :

• Report
  • Domain Report: This report likely provides information about the performance of a specific domain or a set of related domains. In the context of web applications, a domain could refer to a website or a group of related web services. The report might include metrics such as response times, throughput, error rates, and other performance-related data specific to the mentioned domain.
  • Domain Tag Report: This report may focus on the performance of specific tags within a domain. Tags in web development often refer to elements like HTML tags, which are used to structure and define content on a webpage.
  • Native App Overall Performance Report: This report likely provides insights into the overall performance of a native mobile application. Native apps are those developed for a specific platform (e.g., iOS or Android) using platform-specific programming languages. The report might include information on app launch times, resource usage, user interactions, and other metrics relevant to the application's performance on various devices.
  • Global Filter Search: After specifying all the details once we click on generate a new window will open at right side of the screen user can search value of the table
• Time Filter: Users can select only past time at a fixed interval, such as last 1 hour, last 1 day, last 1 week, last 1 month, and so on. In this, users can get reports on an hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis. Specify time and select the duration in terms of date, hours, minutes, and seconds. This needs to be done for start time and end time and users can also apply custom start and end time as per requirement. It is used to generate reports of specific past time.
• Filters: This option is used to filter out the data for the reports and generate reports using below filters and also can reset.
  • Bucket List (Hourly and Daily): This could refer to the time intervals for data or content. Users might choose between "hourly" and "daily" to filter and view information based on different time frames.
  • Channel (Desktop, Page, etc.): Users can select the specific channel through which data or content is delivered. For example, "Desktop" might refer to information accessed through desktop devices
  • Page: User can select the page by clicking the page icon in order to generate report page specific.
  • Domain (Adobe Test, BloomReach, Facebook Pixel, etc.): This could represent the source or origin of data or content. Users might choose specific domains or platforms such as "Adobe Test," "BloomReach," or "Facebook Pixel" to filter results based on the source

Custom Report

Users can either choose a default pre-configured report or create a new report by clicking on the "Add Report" icon.

• Column Picker : A column picker, is a mechanism used to selectively include or exclude specific columns from a dataset or a report. Here users can choose session or page specific fields available and select them by clicking on the checkbox.
  • Session: Users can select columns and specify their values to be included in the report. This allows users to choose the specific data points they want to analyze. Users have the option to specify Report Data Field(s), Report Dimension(s)(X-axis) and Choose Report Dimension(s)(Y-axis).In session, there are following fields which are listed below:
  • Page: User can specify data field , Report Dimension(s)(X-axis) and Report Dimension(s)(Y-axis).
  • In page, there are following fields which are listed below:
    • DOM Complete Time: The time taken for the Document Object Model (DOM) to be fully constructed after a page is requested, indicating when all elements on the page are ready.
    • Back End Time:  time taken for server-side processing, including database queries and other server operations.
    • Network Time: The time it takes for the browser to download all the resources (images, stylesheets, scripts, etc.) needed to render a page.
    • Page Views:The total number of times a particular page is viewed by users within a specified timeframe.
    • DOM Interactive:The point in time when the DOM is fully constructed, and it becomes interactive, allowing user input and engagement.
    • Perceived Render TimeContent Load Time:The time it takes for the initial content to be visually displayed on the user's screen, providing a perception of fast loading.
    • First Byte Time: The time elapsed from when a user makes a request to the server until the first byte of data is received, indicating server responsiveness.
    • DOM Time: The time taken to parse and construct the Document Object Model (DOM), representing the structure of the HTML document.
    • Session Exit Rate: The percentage of user sessions that end without further interactions or pageviews.

    • Front End Time:The time spent processing and rendering content on the user's browser, excluding server-side processing.
  • Preview: Users can preview and customize reports to meet their specific requirements. Additionally, they have the flexibility to add custom columns to enhance the report as needed.
  • Customize Report : In this tab, the user can see all the selected fields and dimensions. Users can customize downloaded reports in Excel, modifying them to meet their specific requirements. After making adjustments, users can click the "Finish" button located in the right bottom corner to save the report, providing details such as report name, description, and report group (e.g., session, page, business process, events). Additionally, a browse button in the top right corner allows users to conveniently explore existing reports.

  Note

  • Templates: Users can utilize saved layouts to avoid the need for creating templates when generating reports. This streamlines the process by allowing them to reuse preferred report structures without starting from scratch.
  • Schedules: Users have the flexibility to schedule report generation at their preferred times, allowing them to automate the process based on user specific requirements.
