The Test Run(s) page provides a centralized view of all recently executed tests, enabling users to monitor execution history, analyze outcomes, compare runs, and manage test data efficiently. From this page, users can perform global actions such as refreshing data, applying filters, customizing columns, downloading reports, and comparing test runs for detailed analysis.

In addition, it supports critical management options including migrating test runs to other projects or environments, moving runs to the Recycle Bin for restoration or permanent deletion, archiving or unarchiving runs for better organization, locking or unlocking runs to control modifications, and importing test run data for record management and further analysis.

Global Action Icons

The Global Action Icons are available at the top of the page and allow users to perform actions across test runs.

• Search: Allows users to quickly find specific test runs by entering keywords or applying search criteria.
• Refresh: Reloads the test run list to display the latest execution results.
• Delete Test Run(s): Deletes one or more selected test runs from the list. This helps remove obsolete or unnecessary records.
• Compare: Allows users to compare selected test runs to analyze differences in execution results.
• Column Filter: Enables users to show or hide table columns based on their preference, helping customize the view for focused analysis.
• Manage Column: Allows users to reorder and manage visible columns in the table.
• Download: Allows users to export recent test run details in Word, PDF, Excel, or CSV formats for reporting, sharing, and offline analysis.
• Expand Test Table: Expands the Tests table to show more test records and columns on the screen.
• Collapse Test Table: Allows users to collapse the expanded Tests table and return to the default view.
• Applied Filter: On clicking Applied Filter, a filter window opens where users can select criteria such as Project, Sub-Project, Status, Duration, Started date, and other options to refine the test run list.
  • Project: Allows users to select a project (e.g., Cosmo, default, Sally) to filter the test runs accordingly.
  • Sub-Project: Enables filtering of test runs based on the selected sub-project (e.g., Android, IOS).
  • State: Filters test runs by state such as Any, Locked, Archived, or Unlocked.
  • Started: Filters test runs based on the selected time range such as Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 6 months, or Last 1 year.

More Options (Three Dots Menu)

• Migrate Test Run: Allows users to move selected test runs to another workspace or environment.
• Recycle Bin: Enables users to view, restore, or manage previously deleted test runs.
• (Un)Archive: Allows users to archive test runs for long-term reference and unarchive them to bring them back to the active list.
• (Un)Lock: Prevents any changes to a test run when locked, ensuring data integrity, and allows modifications again when unlocked.
• Import: Enables users to upload and add external test run data into the system.
• Master Checkbox: Master Checkbox is available at the top-left of the table and allows users to select or deselect all tests to perform bulk actions.
• Sorting: Allows users to sort column values alphabetically (for text) or numerically (for numbers) to analyze data efficiently.
• Column Operation: Clicking this option opens a popup with actions to manage the selected table column.
  • Move Column Left: Moves the selected column one position to the left.
  • Move Column Right: Moves the selected column one position to the right.
  • Insert to Left: Inserts a new column to the left of the selected column (if enabled).
  • Insert to Right: Inserts a new column to the right of the selected column (if enabled).
  • Replace Column: Replaces the selected column with another column (if enabled).
  • Hide Column: Hides the selected column from the table view.

Recent Test Run(s) Table

The Recent Test Runs table displays detailed information for each executed test run. Each row represents a single test execution.

• Type: Indicates the type of test run execution, represented by icons that distinguish between Test Case and Test Suite.
• Test Run: Displays the detailed description of the test execution, including objectives, scope, configuration details, and any relevant execution notes or comments.
• Test Name: Shows the name of the executed test.
• Start Time: Indicates when the test execution started.
• Duration: Displays the total time taken to complete the test run.
• Total: Shows the total number of test cases executed. In case of Test Suites, count of respective test cases(s) will be displayed.
• Executed: Shows the number of test runs that have been executed. In case of Test Suites, count of respective test cases(s) will be displayed.
• Pass: Indicates the number of successfully executed test cases. In case of Test Suites, count of respective test cases(s) will be displayed.
• Fail: Displays the number of test runs that failed during execution. In case of Test Suites, count of respective test cases(s) will be displayed.
• Error: Shows the number of test runs that encountered errors. In case of Test Suites, count of respective test cases(s) will be displayed.
• Aborted: Indicates the number of test runs that were aborted before completion. In case of Test Suites, count of respective test cases(s) will be displayed.
• Status: Displays the overall result of the test run:
  • Success: Execution completed successfully.
  • Failed: One or more test cases failed during execution.
  • Not Started: The test run has not yet begun execution.
  • Aborted: The test run was stopped by the user before completion.
  • Error: The test run encountered errors during execution.
  • Running: The test run is currently in progress.
• Action: Provides row-level actions such as deleting the test run or accessing additional options.
  • Delete: Allows users to delete the selected test run from the list.
  • View Test: Allows users to open and view the selected test case or test suite.
  • (Un)Archive: Allows users to archive a test for long-term storage or unarchive it to make it active again.
  • (Un)Lock: Prevents changes to a test when locked and allows editing again when unlocked.
  • Test Initialization Screen: Displays the initialization details and setup information for the test run.
  • Stop Test: Allows users to stop the test execution while it is in progress.
  • Export Test: Enables users to export the test configuration for reuse or sharing.
  • View Report: Opens the execution report for the selected test run or suite with details about the status of test case(s) and run details.
  • View Execution: When a user clicks on a Test Run, the Execution Summary page opens, displaying key details such as Test Run ID, Test Name, Start Time, and Duration. It provides a graphical summary of Total, Executed, Passed, Failed, and Aborted test cases for quick analysis. Additionally, the Test Run Report section displays detailed test case results in a tabular format, including status and error messages for quick review and troubleshooting.

Pagination

Pagination is available at the bottom of the page and enables navigation across multiple test records and control over the number of entries displayed per page.
