Overview

The Tests page provides a centralized view of all created test cases. It helps users manage test assets, track modifications, execute tests, and perform version control-related activities efficiently. From this page, users can create new tests, start executions, compare tests, download test details, and manage tests using global and row-level actions.

Each test is displayed in a tabular format with essential details such as test and modification time, enabling quick access and management.

Global Action Icons

The Global Action Icons are available at the top of the page and allow users to perform actions across tests.

• Search: Allows users to search tests including names, timestamps, or other visible table values, to quickly locate the required entries.
• Delete: Deletes one or more selected tests using the master checkbox for bulk action.
• Export: Allows users to export tests for backup or external use.
• Import: Allows users to import tests into the selected Project and Sub-Project by choosing the required test files through the Import dialog.
• Reload Filter Test List: Reloads the test list to display the latest updates.
• Create Test (Test Case): Clicking the plus (+) icon opens the Create a New Test page, where users can select a suitable method to create a test case based on their requirements.
• Git Pull: Clicking Git Pull opens an Authentication dialog where users must enter the required password to authenticate and pull the latest test updates from the Git repository.
• Show all Test: Displays all available tests by clearing any applied filters or search criteria and refreshing the test list.
• Column Filter: Enables users to show or hide table columns for a customized view.
• Manage Columns: Allows users to reorder and manage visible columns in the table.
• Download: Allows users to download the selected test in Word, PDF, Excel, or CSV formats.
• Schedule Summary (Watch Icon): Displays the scheduling details of the selected test, including schedule status, type, target, next run time, and expiry information.
• More Options (Three Dots):
  • Git Pull: Fetches and syncs the latest tests from the connected Git repository.
  • Import: Allows users to import tests into the selected Project and Sub-Project.
  • Export: Enables users to export selected tests for external use or backup, for example, sharing test files with other teams or environments.
• Master Checkbox: Master Checkbox is available at the top-left of the table and allows users to select or deselect all tests to perform bulk actions.
• Sorting: Allows users to sort column values alphabetically (for text) or numerically (for numbers) to analyze data efficiently.
• Column Operation: Clicking this option opens a popup with actions to manage the selected table column.
  • Move Column Left: Moves the selected column one position to the left.
  • Move Column Right: Moves the selected column one position to the right.
  • Insert to Left: Inserts a new column to the left of the selected column (if enabled).
  • Insert to Right: Inserts a new column to the right of the selected column (if enabled).
  • Replace Column: Replaces the selected column with another column (if enabled).
  • Hide Column: Hides the selected column from the table view.
• Expand Test Table: Expands the Tests table to show more test records and columns on the screen.
• Collapse Test Table: Allows users to collapse the expanded Tests table and return to the default view.

Test Filter

Allows users to filter the test list based on Project, Sub-Project, Search keyword, and Last Updated options. Users can apply the selected filters using Apply, Show All or clear all selections using Reset.

Tests Table

The Tests table displays detailed information for each test. Each row represents a single test.

• Project: Displays the project to which the test belongs.
• Sub-Project: Displays the associated sub-project under the selected project.
• Test: Displays the name of the test. Clicking the test name opens a confirmation window if the test is already opened by another user, with options to open in View Mode, Edit, or Close.
• Modification Time: Indicates the date and time when the test was last modified.
• Action Option:
  • Play Button: Allows users to start the selected test execution.
  • Edit: Allows users to open and modify the selected test configuration.
  • Copy: Creates a duplicate of the selected test for reuse.
  • Delete: Deletes the selected test from the list.
  • Three Dots (Kebab Menu): Provides additional actions for the selected test.
    • Edit: Allows users to modify the selected test configuration.
    • Copy: Creates a duplicate of the selected test for reuse.
    • Delete: Deletes the selected test from the list.
    • Export: Exports the selected test for backup or sharing.
    • View Note: Displays notes associated with the selected test.
    • Open Script: Opens the test script for viewing or editing.
    • Save Test as Profile: Saves the selected test as a reusable profile.
    • Git History: Displays the version history of the test from the Git repository.
    • Git Commit: Commits the latest changes of the test to the Git repository.
    • Version Commit: Saves a new version of the test configuration.
    • Version Logs: Displays the version change history of the test.
• Tests Count: At the top of the table, users can view the total number of tests currently available or matching the applied filters.

Note: Clicking a Test Case Name opens it in edit mode, allowing users to view and modify the test case configuration as required.

Pagination

Pagination is available at the bottom of the page and enables navigation across multiple test records and control over the number of entries displayed per page.
