Page performance detail analytics can analyze the page performance across multiple metrics. You can drill to any session causing a spike in the dashboard from a single page. Through page performance detail, the root cause for the spike can also be known as it enables you to view all the details of the session.

Details

In details, you can see the information regarding the following page details which are listed below:

• AVG OnLoad: Onload time occurs when processing of the page is complete and all the resources on the page (images, CSS, etc.) have finished downloading. This is also the same time that DOM complete occurs and the JavaScript onload event fires.
• AVG DOM Time: DOM time is the total amount of time spent in processing DOM and rendering the page. It is the time from main URL (Last non-redirect) response received to onload event.
• AVG TTDI: Avg TTDL is the average duration which is taken for a web page’s DOM to be fully constructed and ready for user interaction.
• AVG PRT: Perceived render time is the time when viewpoint area of the client browser is visually complete. It will not consider hidden area of the document.
• AVG TTDL: Avg TTDL is the average duration which is taken for a web page’s DOM to be fully constructed and ready for user interaction.
• AVG First Byte: Time to First Byte is the total amount of time spent to receive the first byte of the response once it has been requested.
• AVG TTI: Time to Interactive is when the website is visually usable and engaging.
• AVG FID: First Input Delay measures the time from when a user first interacts with your site to the time when the browser is actually able to respond to that interaction.
• AVG Unload: AVG unload is the time spent in unloading the previous document (if any).
• AVG Redirect: AVG redirect is the time taken by the browser to fetch all redirect URL’s, if there is any redirection in fetching the main URL.
• AVG CacheLookUp: AVG CacheLookUp Time is the time taken by the browser to look up the main URL in the browser cache.
• AVG DNS: AVG DNS is the decentralized hierarchal naming system that translates domain name into IP addresses, enabling users to access websites using human-readable addresses.
• AVG TCP: Time required for TCP handshake. It does not include SSL/TLS
• AVG SSL: Time required for SSL/TLS
• AVG Wait Time: Server response time is the wait time for the main URL. It is the start time from the main URL request (Last Non-redirect) start to time when first byte of response is received.
• AVG Download Time: The total time taken in downloading the main URL (Last Non-Redirect) response.
• AVG FP: First paint timestamp report is when the browser has started to render the page after navigation.
• AVG FCP: Avg First Content Paint Timestamp reports is the time it takes for the first visible content to be rendered on a web page.

Notes:

• Smart Search Filter: This option will provide a suggestion as per your search criteria to filter out your search easily.
• Download: This option enables you to download the page performance detail report in your local. To download the report, you have to click on the Download icon. There are following 3 formats in which you can download the report which are listed below:

Page Performance Trend

In page performance trend, you can visualize the Page Performance Trend by analyzing the page details in graphical format with all the performance parameter (I.e. Same as Details Table parameter). You can find the highlighted peak on the graph. You can also hover on the line to view the overall details at that particular time.

Chart Context Menu

In chart context menu, you can perform the following operations which are listed below:

• Download JPEG Image
• Download PDF Document
• Download SVG Vector Image

Page View Scattered Chart

In page view scattered chart, you can see the details for the following field which are listed below:

Page Scattered Map

This will show the scattered view of the page performance detail. In page scattered map, you can see the scattered view for different metrics along with its time period in seconds. You can also see the Percentile Graph on TTDL by clicking on the Percentile Graph on TTDL icon.

Note: You can also reset the time filter by clicking on the Reset Filter icon.

Resource

The resource displays an aggregate view of the resource timing across all domains. This helps in identifying the page bottlenecks. Example: Image File (.png), Java Script file (.js), etc. In resource, you can see the following details which are listed below:

• Name: This refers to the name of the resource for the domain.
• Domain: This refers to a unique name that identifies a website or an online resource. It is a part of the URL which is used to access the website and resource on the internet.
• Count: This refers the count of the total number of the URL’s that have been hit.
• Avg Duration (ms): This refers to the average duration of any particular activity, event or process in milliseconds.
• Avg Wait (ms): This refers to the average waiting time experienced by a user or a system during a specific process or operation.
• Avg Download (ms): This refers to the average duration from the start of the download request until the completion of the download process.
• Avg Redirection (ms): This refers to the average time taken by a web page or resource to be redirected to a different URL.
• Avg DNS (ms): This refers to the average duration from the start of the DNS resolution process until the IP address is obtained.
• Avg Correction (ms): This refers to the average duration from the detection of an issue to its resolution.

Notes:

• Toggle Column: This option is used to Show/Hide a column in the table.
• Column Filter: This option is used to perform search operation to the column.

Resource Trend

In resource trend, you can see the highest duration for a particular resource due to which the corresponding domain took a long time to respond to the user. This data will help you to analyze the resource trend to identify the reasons for the high duration time for a particular domain. To view the details of any instance, hover your mouse over it and then you have to click on the Resource Trend Button. Once you click on the resource trend icon, the resource trend window will open where you can see the trend graph by selecting the time period and then clicking on the Go Go button.

Domain Trend

In domain trend tab, you can view the domain timing over time in the Page Performance Details window. You can apply time filters and download this chart too. To view the details of any instance, hover your mouse over it and then you have to click on the Domain Trend Button. Once you click on the domain trend icon, the domain trend window will open where you can see the trend graph by selecting the time period and then clicking on the Go Gobutton.

Content Type by Request Count

In content type by request count you can see the following fields which are listed below:

• Content Type: This refers to the information in Pie or Tabular chart form about the type of content accessed by the user, such as: image, script, documents, stylesheets and others.
• Count: This refers to the total request count.
• Count Percentage: This refers to the count percentage.
• Duration (ms): This refers to the total duration in milliseconds.

Domain

The domain will display all the domains with their durations, you can identify which is taking the maximum time. In resource, you can see the following details which are listed below:

• Domain Name: This refers to the name of the domain.
• Total Request: This refers to the total number of request which from a particular domain name.
• Avg Duration (ms): This refers to the average duration of any particular activity, event or process in milliseconds.
• Avg Download Time (ms): This refers to the average duration from the start of the download request until the completion of the download process.
• Avg Wait Time(ms): This refers to the average waiting time experienced by a user or a system during a specific process or operation.
• Avg Redirection (ms): This refers to the average time taken by a web page or resource to be redirected to a different URL.
• Avg DNS (ms): This refers to the average duration from the start of the DNS resolution process until the IP address is obtained.
• Avg TCP (ms): This refers to the average time required for a TCP handshake. It does not include SSL/TLS negotiation.
• Avg SSL (ms): This refers to the time required for SSL/TLS

There are following three options which you can select from the drop-down which are listed below:

• Average Duration
• Average Wait
• Average Download

Notes:

• By default, you can see the Top 10 domain name in the list.

In domain, you have to provide the following details which are listed below:

• Minimum Request Count: In this, you have to provide the minimum number of count for the request for the domain trend. By default, it is set to 1.
• %Top: In this, you have to provide the value for the top domain trends which you need to display. The values provided will be taken in percentage.

Domain Trend

In domain trend, you can view the domain timing over the time. You can also apply time filter and download the chart. To see the domain trend, click on the Domain Trend icon. Once you click on the domain trend icon, the corresponding duration graph will be displayed.

Domain Performance Duration

In domain performance duration, you can see the performance of the domain with respect to duration (sec). The duration is shown in the form of Bar Graph.

Global Action Items

There are following global action item filters which are listed below:

• Compare On: In compare on, there are two options one is for time comparison, and another is for user segment comparison.
• In the Page Performance Detail window, you can also navigate to the page performance overview by clicking on the Page Performance Overview Page Performance Overview button

Page Performance Detail Filter

In page performance overview filter, there are two options which are listed below:

• General
• Advanced

General

In general filters, you have to specify the following filters which are listed below:

• Last: Specify time filters, such as last duration (such as: 15 minutes, 1 hour, 1 week, 1 day, 1 week, and so on).
• Custom: Specify the required Start and End date range.
• Select Page: In this option, you have to select the page on which you want to apply the compare. You can select the page from the drop-down provided.
• Select Channel: A channel is the medium through which you can access the site. You can select either the Desktop option or Mobile option from the drop-down provided.
• Select User Segment: It is a group of users having some common behavior or attributes. You can select one or multiple user segments as per your requirement from the given drop-down.
• Select OS: In this you have to select the type of OS you want to use, from the given drop-down. You can select one or multiple OS as per your requirement from the given drop-down.
• Select Browser: In this you have to select the type of browser you want to use, from the given drop-down. You can select one or multiple browsers as per your requirement from the given drop-down.

Notes:

• You can also apply compare for Time as well as User Segment. To apply compare for the two different time, you have to click on the Time Compare Mode Time Compare Mode button and you have to provide the Last or Custom Time for compare.
• To apply compare for the two different user segments, you have to click on the User Segment Compare Mode User Segment Compare Mode button and you have to select the User Segment.
• You can also select the type of device you want to use for applying the filter. You can select any one from the following options provided such as: PC, Mobile or Tablet.
• If you want to apply filter for PC, then you have to click on the PC PC If you want to apply filter for mobile, then you have to click on the Mobile Mobile button. If you want to apply filter for tablet, then you have to click on the Table Tablet button. You can also select multiple devices for applying the filter.

Advanced

You can either Include or Exclude the following advanced settings which are optional and are listed below.

Include

You can include the following options by selecting their values from the corresponding drop-down which are listed below:

• Location
• Page
• OS
• Browser

Exclude

You can exclude the following options by selecting their values from the corresponding drop-down which are listed below:

• Location
• Page
• OS
• Browser

Note: Once you have selected all the settings, then you have to click on the Apply Applybutton to apply the setting. You can also reset the general settings by clicking on the Reset Reset button.
