Test Profile

This section describes how to create a Test profile and configure it for use in other Tests. If the user selects that particular Test profile while creating a Test, the settings are reflected in the created Test. There is no need to perform the settings repeatedly, the user just needs to select the Test profile in which the required settings have already been done.

Test Profile has the following columns:

• Project/Subproject: Project/Subproject are used for holding test assets like the script, Test, test suite, and check profiles. They are folders/subfolders and can be managed from Project Administration Screen.
• Test Profile: Shows Test profile name.
• Modification Time: Time and date when Test profile is updated.
• Action:
  • Edit: This option is used to edit the given Test profile. Once you click this icon, you will be redirected to the additional settings page.
  • Copy: oClick this icon to make a copy of the given Test profile.
  • Delete: Use the icon to delete any Test.
  • GIT History: User can view the version logs of a Test through GIT history
  • GIT Commit: This is used to commit the changes to a local repository.
    Note: If GIT is not configured then CVS options will be displayed such as- Version Log and Version Commit.

Global Action items

• Create Test Profile : The user can create a new test profile using this option.
• Delete : The user can delete selected test profiles using this option.
