RDT is a native and hybrid application testing service that enables developers to run their tests on real Android, and iOS devices that are hosted on the either public or private cloud.

Real Device User Option

Enable the Run virtual user as real device user0 option to run tests on real devices. These real devices can be either on a local (physical device) environment or a cloud environment.

Local Environment

In the case of the local environment, the Phone should be connected in File transfer mode with the Load Test server.

If we select Android as the operating system, mention the IP address and port of the device You can also edit or delete the device added.

If we select IOS as the operating system, specify your Device id, Version, Proxy Port, and Hub Address.

Click Add once the above fields are filled. You can also edit or delete the device added.

PERFORMANCE TOOL SETTINGS

Runtime performance is the measurement of page performance when it is running, as opposed to loading. To analyze the page performance results, select the Enable performance tool (Supported only for Chrome Browser) check box.

Cloud Environment

In the Cloud environment, select any of the following in the Type field:

Based on the type selection, specify your device configuration, such as OS version, Network type, and proxy port.
