Overview

The global configuration feature allows users to select and apply configuration settings to multiple synthetic monitors simultaneously, eliminating the need for individual configurations. With centralized control, users can efficiently manage large-scale monitoring setups, optimizing their workflow and ensuring consistent monitoring across various applications or services.

Location

Users can select multiple locations for synthetic monitors. This functionality empowers users to efficiently configure monitoring setups by choosing multiple geographical locations in one go, enhancing flexibility and enabling comprehensive monitoring coverage across diverse regions and network conditions.

• Select Monitor Name : Select the synthetic monitor(s) from this dropdown on which you want to apply the global configurations on. Once selected, the following information can be seen in the table:
  • Monitor Location Name: It displays monitor locations.
  • IP: Reveals the monitor's IP address.
  • Location: It indicates the geographical location of the monitor.

Note : Users must select the monitor before they can delete or add global configurations saved for that monitor.

Advanced

• Maximum Number of Concurrent Sessions: Enabling this option allows users to set the maximum number of monitors they want to deploy.
• Enable Mark and Measure: It helps users to tag important events on your monitoring data. It helps you see how these events affect your application's performance.
• Enable Network Logs for: Users can enable network logs for multiple monitors, allowing them to track network activity and diagnose issues effectively.
• Save Option: The "Save" option automatically saves all advanced settings.

Miscellaneous

• Select Monitor Name(s): Users will view multiple monitors and will be able to select the specific ones they want to select.
• Select Monitor Configuration: Users can select monitor configurations via dropdown by choosing parameters such as Session Retry on Page Failure, Capture Javascript, Enable CDN Offload, Block URL(s) before capture, Performance Tool Settings, Server Mapping, Script Parameter, and Cache and Cookie Settings.

Note : Users must select the monitor before they can delete or add global configurations saved for that monitor.
